This is my recount writing that we had to do. It was good remembering about the farm. We had many adventures and lots of fun.

One day Me and my family went camping. We went to a place that my mum’s friend’s grandmother owned. It was on a farm and there was a beautiful lake. We went for a swim every day and some friends came too. The lake was fresh and the sand was nice and fluffy like a beach but freshwater. Some days we would go into a pine forest to try and find bones we normally found so many that we couldn’t take them with us, the bones were deer bones. We once went out for a bug hunt at night with lights there was a UV light so we checked if they had UV, most of them didn’t but a few did. When we went down to the beach we swam for hour after hour going to the pontoon and playing in the sand. Once in the sand we found a big tree that looked really old. We tried to dig it up but it went down under the water level so we couldn’t. Two of my friends had brought bow and arrows that they let me and Niko try, I also did a lot of that. At dinner all the kids sat down on a mat and ate yummy stuff, once we had burgers. At breakfast we normally had cereal but we also had pancakes once they were really good. Me and my friends played with hard toys and made up cool stories. Sometimes we made up horror ones. Once my mum’s friend told us a true horror story about when she was sleeping in a room. My least favourite part was when I woke up in the morning and I was all hot because of the tent. Vitek, my dog loved playing with Moki and swimming in the lake too. My dad and his friend sometimes went out to go shooting rabbits and looking at the deer. Next time he says he will bring his air rifle to try and shoot the deer because they are pests and the person who owns the land wants to get rid of them. Sadly we had to go and I wish that I could do it every day of my life.
